Cameron and Ed Coller are St. Jude Hero runners.
That means when they signed up for the run, they also donated money to St. Jude.
The charity holds a special place in their hearts.
St. Jude was a saving grace for their friend and her son Max who had cancer.
Max is now in remission, and the Collers hope their donation means doctors can help more kids like him.
"Just hope they can help all the other kids and they can come home like Max," said Cameron Coller.

Max Duzan and his mother, Tosha, sat down with WCIA 3's Cynthia Schweigert on The Morning Show to talk about what people's generosity means to those who depend on St. Jude.
