Pedestrian Killed in Douglas County

    A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a car this afternoon. The coroner says 88-year-old Wayne Scott died at the scene. It happened on IL Rte 130 at Douglas Co. Rd. 770N in Douglas County. The Tuscola man was hit as he walked into the path of the car.
    The driver, 23-year old Allyson Duffle of Hindsboro told police she was unable to stop in time before hitting Scott. No citations have been issued.
