Jessica Shaw

Updated: May 8, 2013
Jessica Shaw joined the WCIA 3 news team in September 2011.

A graduate of Syracuse University, Jessica loves meeting new people and sharing their stories. She's thrilled her adventures have brought her to Central Illinois.

She comes to Champaign, Illinois from WWNY in Watertown, New York. There, Jessica's covered a wide range of stories - everything from a presidential visit to interviewing "Eddie Munster". She started her career in journalism as an intern for KTRK in Houston, TX. Since then, she's produced a public affairs program that's aired on Syracuse's WSYR and worked as a graphics assistant for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Jessica is a Texas girl, born and raised in Houston. In her free time, she's busy exploring the outdoors, reading, baking, and trying her best to stay out of trouble.
