Flu Season still with us! Get Your Flu Shots During Health Check Clinics in March in Mahomet, Rantoul, St. Joseph or Tolono
The CHAMPAIGN COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT is still offering flu shots at Health Check Clinics this March in Mahomet, Rantoul, St. Joseph and Tolono. Any Champaign County resident aged 18 or older is eligible for the flu shot, blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol screenings offered at the clinics. Flu vaccine for eligible children ages 0-18 are also available at these times. Please call 531-4317 to inquire or schedule an appointment for children.
The County Health Check Clinics will be:
Tuesday, March 14, from 3-6 p.m. at the Mahomet Community Center, 508 E. Main St., Mahomet.
Thursday, March 16, from 3-6 p.m. at the Northern Champaign County Community Service Center, 520 E. Wabash, Rantoul.
Tuesday, March 28, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the St. Joseph Municipal Building, 207 E. Lincoln St., St. Joseph.
Thursday, March 30, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Northern Champaign County Community Service Center, 520 E. Wabash, Rantoul.
Thursday, March 30, from 3-6 p.m. at the Tolono Public Library, 111 E. Main St., Tolono.
Blood pressure screenings are free. Blood sugar tests cost $2, and cholesterol checks are $4. Child immunizations are free to children who are uninsured, underinsured, Alaska Native or Pacific Islander. No one will be turned away for inability to pay.
