Getting a flu vaccine, even during a shortage

Carle Clinic recommends the flu mist vaccine instead of the shot for patients who`d like to get inocculated. Dr. Thomas Sutter says it`s not risky. The flu mist is inhaled through both sides of the nose, and is recommended for patients up to 49 years old. The flu mist is $20 and is free for Health Alliance Members. You can find the flu mist vaccine at the following locations: Carle South Clinic Lobby 602 West University Avenue, Urbana (indefinitely) Mondays
