This Day In Weather History

1978 - A second snowstorm in a matter of days brought more heavy snow to northern Illinois along with the west-central part of the state.  When the 3 day storm was over, there were reports of 8" from Keokuk, Iowa to the northeast to Galesburg and on to La Salle.  A second band of 6 inches or more went from Sterling east to Chicago.
