This Day In Weather History

1970 -   Many record highs were set as temperatures soared into the 70s, including a 72 at Decatur, 70 in Springfield, 68 in Champaign, and 65 in Peoria. 

2008 - A winter storm moved across the Midwest from November 30th to December.  Snow accumulations in excess of 6 inches were noted just north of the I-74 corridor.  Considerable blowing snow occurred after the snow had ended.
