Thieves could be after your pesticides.
University of Illinois Extension Educator Sandy Mason shares tips for keeping them safe and storing them properly.
PESTICIDE STORAGE
-Store in a cool, dry place
-Lock up pesticides in sheds/garages
-Write purchase date on containers
-Buy a container size you can use in one season
-Get accurate pest identification (don`t spray all kinds of chemicals and hope it gets rid of everything)
-Use least toxic pesticides such as insecticidal soap and horticultural oil
