Travel Tips

Updated: January 7, 2009
Tips To Help You Stay Fit Away From Home Be realistic (you may not be able to get in as many or as long of workouts as you do while you are home). Scope out local health clubs. Plan ahead (if there will not be a health club near where you will be staying, check out the weather to see what can be done outside and plan a resistance workout based on bands and body weight). Pack a resistance band as well as workout clothing. Be creative! Try out your travel routine at least once at home (a new workout that youve never done before will require more time and preparation). Prepare healthy snacks. Be sure to bring your ID and cab fare if you workout outdoors (you never know what may happen and you are not in a familiar city).
