Happy Healthy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is only a few days away.
And we all know that Thanksgiving kicks off the holiday celebrations, not to mention all the wonderful meals with family and friends.
We also all know that it's hard not to pack on the calories from all the food and wine that we consume over the season.
To help us have a healthy celebration is Carol Shriver Provena's dietician and Dr. Abe Kocheril cardiologist with Christie Clinic.
According to them there are three main ingredients needed to keep us and our bodies happy through the holidays:
I. Remove
II. Reduce
III. Replace
They also brought along a favorite holiday recipe with them...brownies. But these brownies are special...they only have 129 calories.
Black Bean Brownies:
Box of brownie mix (dry ingredients only)
15.5 oz can of black beans (rinsed)
cup water
Mix ingredients together. Follow the cooking instructions on the brownie box. Enjoy!
