Moroccan Yogurt Marinade Recipe
1 pound of meat, such as chicken or pork
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/3 cup lime juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon bottled hot-pepper sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
Place meat in a plastic bag and set in a bowl. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over meat and turn the meat to coat. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for 4 to 8 hours. Cook meat as desired until done.
