Ingredients:
8 cups flour
pinch salt
1/2 pound soft butter
3 cups hot water (110 degrees)
3 tablespoons yeast
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
In a bowl, mix flour, salt, butter.
In another bowl, mix water and yeast and let it soften and rise. Then mix in milk and sugar. Blend ingredients of both bowls with eggs and mix until it pulls from the sides. Put it back in one bowl and let it rise until double in size. Knock it down and let it double again.
For dinner rolls: Place one ball of dough (silver dollar size), in pan or 2 of that size for a clover shape.
For peacan rolls: roll dough out like pizza crust; top with melted butter, and brown sugar and pecans to taste. Roll up like a log and slice 1/4 inch thick.
Bake 12 minutes at 350 degrees
