Lemon-Iced Blueberry Scones

Recipe shared by Bob Rowe of Classic Events Catering on "The Morning Show." Please note 2 recipes- one for scones, one for icing. ***SCONES*** INGREDIENTS 2 c. flour 1 tblsp. baking powder 1 tblsp. sugar 5 tblsp. cold butter 1 c. heavy cream 1 c. fresh blueberries (dusted with flour) DIRECTIONS Mix dry ingredients and incorporate butter with hands or pastry blade until the mix resembles fine gravel or sand. Add heavy cream. LIGHTLY mix (do not overmix) Pour onto floured surface and shape into large rectangle with hands. Cut into squares and them into triangles. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. ***ICING*** INGREDIENTS 1+1/4 c. lemon juice Zest from 1 lemon 2 c. powdered sugar Mix well and spread onto warm scones. Classic Events Catering: 367-7118
