As prepared on "The Morning Show" by Chris Cutler, dietician with Decatur Memorial Hospital, for the Taste of Decatur.
INGREDIENTS
2 1/2 pounds lean ground beef*
3/4 c. chopped onions
2 tsp. liquid vegetable oil
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sugar
5 c. BBQ sauce**
DIRECTIONS
Brown ground beef
Fill skillet with cold water, pour off water and any fat.
Saute onions in vegetable oil and add drained ground beef along with other ingredients.
Simmer for 20 minutes.
Serve on favorite hamburger bun.
