An Iroquois County Animal Rescue volunteer is taking his love of dogs across state lines. He just got back from a trip to Virginia where he helped transform a former Michael Vick home into a dog rescue.

Iroquois County Animal Rescue volunteer Reg Green traveled to Surry, Virginia after seeing a call to help.

The rescue group "Dogs Deserve Better" bought the home NFL player Michael Vick used to run his illegal dog fighting ring. He spent 4 days transforming the home to a permanent rehabilitation and rescue site.
