Our Town: Gibson City Goes Hollywood

It was the experience of a lifetime for one Gibson City man. State Farm Agent, Greg Kurtenbach became a star after a surprising phone call. The insurance company auditioned him for a commercial and chose him to be featured as "Buffalo Bob." He was flown to California for filming last October.

"I only had to read my one second line, with everything going on it's still a little nerve racking so that fear in my eyes is actually real fear of people looking at me and the sound and the camera and everything. It was a great experience."

The commercial premiered during the recent bears and packers football game. Since then it's also been featured during American Idol and the Grammy's.
