Zook: Defense "wore out" down the stretch

Ron Zook said this week his defense just flat out "wore down" as the season went along. Eight weeks in they were one of the best in the league, but over the final four games, they were anything but effective.
However these three weeks off could pay big dividends for the Illinois defense - a chance to regroup, recuperate, and refresh. As they get ready to face a tough Baylor offense, they'll be out to prove some doubters wrong.
