Liquor Taxes Changing in Danville

Buying alcohol at a liquor store in Danville will cost you more. The city council raised taxes for stores that sell packaged alcohol. In exchange, it lowered liquor taxes for bars. Now both bars and liquor stores will pay three percent taxes.
