New Recognition for Former Base Upsets Rantoul Leaders

Rantoul village leaders are furious over a new designation for the Former Chanute Air Force Base. Part of the base is now on the National Registry of Historic Places. It`s a prestigious list, but it also means the base will be a lot harder to redevelop. T
