U of I Waits for Decision on Final Appeal on Chief Illiniwek

Chief Illiniwek may have danced for the final time. The NCAA is set to rule this Friday on the U of I`s final appeal to keep the Chief. The NCAA has previously ruled the Chief is "abusive and hostile" and should be retired. If the NCAA Executive Committee
