booksDANVILLE- But these brothers are now the newest faces of Danville high school's class of 2008. The Anglum brothers left Danville high school to join the armed forces but Thursday night in a special tribute to veterans they're lives made a full circle.     They've waited more than 60 years for this moment. James and Werner Anglum were suppose to graduate in 1941 and 1945. They are now officially high school graduates. The brothers put their education on hold to enlist into World War two when they were just teenagers.
"By the time school started I was already enlisted and I thought, ' boy this is something else", all the way out to the state of Washington," remembers James Anglum.
They're war veterans, fathers and grandfathers but there was stills something missing.
"I said big brother how would you like me to get a diploma for you and he said, boy I'd really like that," said Werner Anglum.
So they went back to their Alma Mater to finish what they had started.
"I'm getting kinda shaky," said Anglum.
A little overwhelmed but they've done it, and wouldn't change a thing.
"Life worked out just the way it was suppose to," said James Anglum.
