Dewitt Co. Man Missing
Updated: July 12, 2007
Elmer "Bus" Glenn was last seen yesterday morning in Clinton. His family says he was driving into town to do errands.. but never made it there.
"My dad comes out every morning to take our dog for a ride, he was here 10 minutes maybe and he and the dog left and he's usually gone an hour and half to two hours then at a 11 I thought gee he shoud be home by now."
Mary Jane Workman says it's out of character for her dad to be gone this long. He was off to run some errands but never made it to his destination but even at 91 she says he's sharp as can be and would never not call home.
He was last seen filling up at a gas station just before nine Wednesday morning.
"We did check because i know he gets his gas at the shell station in clinton we checked and she said yes he had been there in the truck and with the dog and he had gotten gas....from there nobody's seen him."
He's with the family dog Danny. A comfort to the family knowing they're together.
The family says they know the Sheriff's office is doing the best they can. but for now all they can do is wait and worry.
"Keep hoping that he'll turn up somewhere" says Workman.
Glenn was driving a tan truck with a topper.. If you have any information.. call local police.
