Standoff Scam

If youre asked to donate money to give police bulletproof vests, dont do it. Someones turned the standoff in Arcola into a scam. The Arcola Police Chief says someones going door to door claiming to be raising money to give his officers better protection. The chief says his department isnt asking for money. It comes a week after a man took hostages inside an Arcola bank and the Douglas County Sheriffs Chief Deputy was shot.
