Its human nature to search for that fountain of youth. In this case... Its not a fountain at all... But a machine with lights and a magic wand. Dr. Pamela Baggett says "This is called the beautiful image facial and body sculpting machine." An esthetician massages lotion into a patients skin... Then uses the wand to massage the muscle back into place. Medically what the wands do is increase the blood flow and collogen fibers, tightening up the skin. Baggett says "It helps women look younger, it tightens fine lines, it helps sagging and drooping skin." In just 8 to ten sessions patients see dramatic differences. A face lift without surgery. But its not limited to the face. Baggett says "A lot of women are concerned about cellulite. we can also decrease the size of legs. Its not unusual that women will lose inches in one treatment which is a 90 minute treatment." Dena Vanscyoc says she sees a difference around her frown line and lips and shell keep up the treatments. Vanscyoc says "Youre never too old, youre never too young. you always want to look your best grammy always said you should always look your best because you never know who you might meet." Costs vary depending on face or body treatments. Once you attain muscle memory you need maintenance sessions about every 6 weeks. Dr. Baggett says "Yes, cosmetic surgery will always be around but for the average person who doesnt have 1000s of dollars to spend, this is a nice way to go." Doctor Baggetts office is based in Effingham. But starting Monday shell also see clients for the magic wand at Hair Design and Spa at the Shoppes of Knollwood in Champaign.
