crime  The Champaign County States Attorney says the death of an Urbana woman is suspicious. She's says police are looking into it as a murder investigation.
A man walking by Boneyard Creek in Urbana found 30 year old Heather Muntean dead in the water. Urbana police the day collecting evidence on scene near the 300 block of Race Street. They also asked for help from the State police. A CSI from the State went back on scene combing through the waters to double check if evidence was left. He also used a metal detector.
The Champaign County Coroner did an autopsy on Muntean's body but won't release the details. He's afraid it will jeopardize the case.
Friends say the person who found Muntean dead was her boyfriend. They tell WCIA that the two had a violent relationship. Police are not saying if he or anyone else are suspects.
