exleyParkland Board of Trustee members are expected to announce at the meeting Tuesday Robert Exley won't be back after his medical leave ends this month. Exley started at Parkland less than a year ago. Since then, he's been in and out because of a heart attack and his father's death. Last month, the board approved his request for time off. Board members says he's been leading Parkland for about nine months and absent about three. During that time, the three vice presidents of the college have been in control.
