The Champaign County Board voted 19-5 Wednesday night to show Curt Deedrich the door. He was appointed as Supervisor of Assessments back in 2004. Board members say the decision to dismiss him is based on his job performance. Deedrich is fighting it. He filed a lawsuit against the county before the meeting and passed it out to board members before they went into closed session. He says the decision is unfair and that the county board and Champaign County State's Attorney overstepped their boundaries.
