3 People Dead in Danville Shooting

DANVILLE - Danville police are investigating a shooting spree that has left three people dead Sunday. Police spokesman Larry Thomason says officers were called to the 1700 block of East Main Street at about 10:15 Sunday morning. When they arrived they found a male subject on the roadway and later found two female victims dead inside an apartment at 1707 East Main Street. Police aren't releasing names, but say the female victims were 19 and 21-years-old. The male victim was 30.
Police cordoned off the area closing Main Street in that area. The location where the shooting occurred is next door to the city’s Number Four fire station. Police say they have no one in custody at this time, but their investigation continues. The Vermilion County Coroner has scheduled autopsies for Monday.
