Woman wary of suspect vehicle

CURRAN -- Police are investigating another incident involving a suspected police impersonator. An 18-year old woman told police she was driving on South Farmingdale Road near Old Route 36 Friday, about 11:50 pm, when she noticed a "larger" white vehicle pull out behind her. She also noticed it was missing its front license plate.
The suspect vehicle followed her then turned on red-and-blue flashing lights. The victim was aware of recent reports of a suspected police impersonator, so she turned on her hazard lights and continued driving. The suspect vehicle then turned off its lights and turned the corner.
