DANVILLE -- An after-school hang out for boys and girls could soon shut its doors. Laura Lee Fellowship House is facing financial troubles. The executive director says annual funding from United Way isn't paying the bills.

That is why they are looking to the community to help. They held a meeting asking for ideas to raise money. They need about $20,000 to stay afloat.

More than 70 kids visit Laura Lee after school each day. The fellowship house also helps senior citizens in the area.

If you would like to donate to them, call (217) 442 - 0931.
