URBANA -- The city will get more than $1 million to fix its roads. A state grant will help pay for reconstruction of Airport Road.

The road will be widened and curbs, gutters and storm sewers will be updated. New traffic signals will be installed as well.

The total cost for the project is almost $3 million. The funds will come from the city's tax financing in District 4. The project is expected to start in 2015.
