Seamonson hired as Illini OLB coach

Updated: February 26, 2013
CHAMPAIGN - The Illini have hired Al Seamonson as their new outside linebackers coach.  Seamonson most recently coached linebackers at Central Florida in 2011.

Before that he was at Maryland from '01-'10.  He does have Big Ten experience.  He graduated from Wisconsin and spent two years as a grad assistant there.

Seamonson replaces Steve Clinkscale on the staff.  Clinkscale coached the defensive backs; that job now goes to defensive coordinator Tim Banks.
