URBANA -- A longtime family business is now closed. Village Inn Pizza shut its doors. The owner announced in a news release they don't have the money to stay open.

The pizzeria has been open for more than 40-years. Just over a year ago, it moved to its new location at High Cross Road. The owner said they were making more money there, but it still was not enough.

"This was not an easy decision for us. We do not have the capital to continue to promote the business and make the upgrades," said managing partner John Rinkenberger, Jr.
