Police detonate explosive

CATLIN -- You may have heard an explosion Wednesday night in Vermilion County. A Catlin man called police to say he was storing an old WW II explosive.

The UI bomb squad and Champaign police used a robot to remove it from the home on South Sandusky. They took it to an open field on the edge of town to detonate it. No one was hurt.
