Two injured in head-on crash

COLES COUNTY -- Two people were hurt after a head-on crash near Mattoon. It happened around 8 AM on Saurday morning. It was at the intersection of Route 16 and 200 E.

Police said a 19-year-old driver lost control of her car on a snow-covered road. Authorities said she hit another car head-on. She was driving about 45 MPH at the time.
