Jon White is on leave from the Urbana School District and in jail on 1 million dollars bond. He's expected to be arraigned next week in McLean county on sexual assault charges. White's facing 18 charges in all in Champaign and McLean counties. Faculty at Thomas Paine elementary are trying to move on. The school has sent out letters to parents telling them they have started the interview process for a new second grade teacher to replace White. New locks are on the doors and staff members are keeping a close eye on all students during lunch hours. Parents have also been encouraged to call the school with any questions.
