Report: Illinois moves to Legends division

Illinois will switch into the Legends division in the 2014-15 season, according to a report from ESPN's Brett McMurphy.

Northwestern will also join the Illini in the Legends division. Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska and Minnesota will remain in the division.

Maryland officially announced it will join the Big Ten in 2014. Multiple reports say Rutgers will announce they will become a member of the Big Ten, possibly as early as Tuesday.

Rutgers and Maryland will be in the new Leaders division. They will join Wisconsin, Ohio State, Purdue, Indiana and Penn State
