URBANA -- Some of Central Illinois' own heroes stepped into the spotlight Friday. Dozens came out to the Veterans Job Fair. They handed in resumes and got one-on-one time with employers.

On veteran who fought overseas in the early 70's, says if someone wants it enough, days like today could offer a fresh start.

"You're gonna have to work at it. But I think if somebody was diligent and checked all the websites and tried, they'd probably find something," Curtis Moore.
