Students give helping "hand" to Sandy victims
Updated: November 5, 2012
New York firefighter Bill Gleason is heading here next week to talk to students about his experience as a 9/11 first responder. When he heads home, he's taking the donations with him for people affected by Hurricane Sandy.
School leaders say it's a good chance for kids to learn how to help others and a lesson in history. Donations can be dropped off at the junior high until Monday.
