TOLONO -- A day in the field equals inspiration for one farmer. Lin Warfel has been writing poetry for more than 50-years but just recently began sharing it.

Warfel says he gets his inspiration from the outdoors while driving the combine. He keeps a sharpie with him then takes notes on the window.

Recently a book of his poems was published. It's called, "Song of the Prairie." Copies are available on Amazon.com or at the library.
