Burn ban issued for Cerro Gordo

CERRO GORDO -- A temporary burn ban has been issued for open fires, flames and burning. Open fires, including bonfires, pit fires or any other open fire for recreational purposes is prohibited.

It does not include the use of charcoal, wood or gas grills for the preparation of food. Any grill shall be personally attended at all times it is ignited or actively burning until such a time as it is completely extinguished.
