DECATUR -- Our Town is booming with history, but its sights are set on the future. The city is getting a major facelift; the highlight, Lake Decatur.

It's the focus of a multimillion dollar renovation project. Officials hope it will make the city a vacation destination. The lakefront will have a brand new water park and amphitheater someday.

But, the project is starting with new docks. That's because Lake Decatur is home to this year's Bassmasters Finals. Leaders say it's the perfect place to host what's called the "Superbowl of Fishing."

The tournament is in September. The best fishermen in the country will hit the lake. Even if you're not into fishing, there will be a family festival at the lakefront as well.
