An Amtrak train collided with a pick-up truck in Cumberland County Saturday night sending one person to the hospital. Witnesses say it happened around 6:00 on Route 45 in Neoga. The northbound train struck the truck with three people inside, ripping off the backside of the vehicle. Illinois State Police say one person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the truck has been arrested for DUI. Amtrak officials say none of the 54 passengers onboard the train were hurt. The train was delayed for about three hours.
