Three Illini make Jazz Roster

Deron Williams, Dee Brown and Roger Powell all made the 2006-`07 Utah Jazz roster. The team picked up an option on the third year of Williams contract, meaning he has two more with the team. Powell makes his first NBA team after playing in the CBA last year. He was released by the Seattle Supersonics last preseason. Brown or point guard Brian Chase might still be in danger of getting cut. When Derek Fisher returns from injury, the Jazz will have an extra point guard and will be forced to release one player from their fifteen-man roster.
