Athletes from all over the US are gearing up for a different kind of competition. The National Kidney Foundation is about to kick off the Transplant Games.

            They’re are held every two years. This year will be in Madison Wisconsin.

            About 200 people will represent Illinois, and a handful of that group is from Champaign.

The games allow patients, donors and their families to come together to celebrate an immeasurable gift. Life.
