CHICAGO - Illinois started off slow and never recovered on their way to an 80-64 loss at the hands of Indiana in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament.  Illinois fell behind by 17 points early.  They eventually trimmed the lead down to 8 in the second half before the Hoosiers put the game away.

Illinois' three starting guards (Richardson, Paul, Abrams) combined to shoot just 9-38 FG.  Brandon Paul and Tracy Abrams led the way for Illinois with 16 points each.  Indiana meanwhile put five players in double figures led by Cody Zeller (24 points).

Illinois is knocked out of the Big Ten Tournament.  They'll await their NCAA Tournament fate on Sunday night.
