SPRINGFIELD -- Police are looking for a man who robbed a taxi driver at gunpoint. Police say it happened March 3, around 8:46 pm. It was at 17th and Jackson where the man was let out. The driver picked him up at the Greyhound bus station and took him where he wanted to go.

Matt Goulet, with the Springfield Police Department said, the suspect told the driver he'd have to go inside to get money to pay him.

"But when he came out, he displayed a black revolver to the driver and demanded money from him."

Police describe the suspect as a black man in his early 20's, 5' 8", and 145 lbs. He was wearing a red jacket, blue cap and white pants.
