CHAMPAIGN - After back-to-back losses last week, the Illini basketball team is barely hanging onto it's spot in the national rankings.  Illinois dropped all the way down to 22nd in the Coaches poll and 23rd in the AP poll after losses to Minnesota and Wisconsin.

One bright spot from Illinois' blowout loss Saturday in Madison was the play of Mike Shaw.  The sophomore played 19 minutes, almost doubling his season total.  He scored two points and pull down three rebounds.  He also made a big impression on John Groce.
