CHAMPAIGN - Illinois offensive line coach Luke Butkus is leaving the U of I to join Ron Turner's staff at Florida International, according to sources close to the program.  Butkus spent just one year as an assistant at Illinois.

Butkus played under Ron Turner at Illinois from 1998-2001.  Butkus is the second Illinois offensive assistant coach to leave this week after co-offensive coordinator Chris Beatty was fired on Saturday.
