VERMILLION COUNTY, IN -- Two people were arrested after running away from police in a stolen truck. Police said Lee Edward Bemis and Kristina Gruner found a pick-up truck empty and running in Clinton on Saturday afternoon. That's just on the other side of the Indiana border.

Authorities said they crashed through a fence and drove into a wooded area. The pair abandoned the truck there. Police found them lying in the snow near the Wabash River. They're both charged with vehicle theft and resisting officers.
